The record for the largest Tanjore painting created measuring 2133.6 mm (height)x 1219.2mm (width) and was achieved by MyAngadi.com, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India, between 28 and 29 January 2026 in 9 hours 24 mins 07 secs, at the Jubilant Tamil Nadu Global Expo and Knowledge Summit 2026. The artwork depicted Lord Tirupati Balaji and was completed using traditional Tanjore painting techniques, including embossed detailing and the application of real gold foil
