The record for the Largest Onathappan Replica Made at a Shopping Mall was set by LuLu Mall, Kottayam (Kerala), India, on 3 September 2025. The grand replica, with the tallest structure measuring 9 metres in height and 2.78 metres in breadth, was part of five structures created and installed outside the mall premises. The display was kept open to the public as part of the Onam celebrations. The initiative not only showcased the cultural essence of Onam but also united visitors and the community in witnessing the traditional Onathappan on an extraordinary scale.
