The record for the longest distance covered by students in an awareness lit torch relay for a cause is 490Kms by 61 students covered in 51 hours and 43 minutes in a relay fashion. This record was achieved by SRM College of Physiotherapy(India). The relay run begun on 6 September 2022 at SRM Amaravati campus, Andhra Pradesh and ended on 8 September 2022 at SRM Kattankulathur campus.
