Most people performing sun salutations simultaneously at a single venue

The record for the most people performing sun salutations (Surya Namaskar) simultaneously at a single venue consists of 21,850 participants and was achieved by the District Collector of Alluri Sitharamaraju District,Andhra Pradesh (India) on 7 April 2025. The participants, comprising students from the tribal community,successfully performed 108 Surya Namaskars in unison to mark World Health Day.
